KL Sentral LRT Station Renamed To "KL Sentral redONE LRT Station"
Prasarana Integrated Development and redONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE) have agreed to a 5-year Station Naming Rights deal that would see KL Sentral LRT Station rebranded as 'KL Sentral redONE' LRT station.
This rebranding initiative demonstrates redONE's dedication to improving its brand presence and connecting with consumers in the Klang Valley. The renamed KL Sentral redONE LRT Station moniker will be visible throughout the station and throughout the Kelana Jaya line, including signage, maps and on board the trains.
The landmark KL Sentral LRT Station was developed over 20 years ago as an integrated station designed to function as the nation's first 'multimodal' transport hub in Southeast Asia. It also acts as the country's rail system's hub, connecting all current rail networks, making it an essential interchange for commuters and travellers.
The transport hub serves travellers by connecting them to the Light Rapid Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), Express Rail Link (ERL), and Keretapi Tanah Melayu (KTM), as well as direct links to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).
Prasarana Integrated Development’s Chief Executive Officer, Fa’izah Khairuddin said “By joining forces with redONE, we are confident that we will enhance the overall experience for millions of commuters and travellers while opening new avenues for brand visibility and engagement for ASEAN’s largest mobile virtual network operator (MVNO). We look forward to a successful partnership that will shape the future landscape of public transportation in the Klang Valley.”
While redONE's Chief Executive Officer, Farid Yunus, expressed that the company strongly supports public transportation and bringing living costs down for consumers.
