SUKE Expressway - Alam Damai Elevated Interchange Now Open!

The Alam Damai Elevated Interchange along the Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Motorway (SUKE) will formally open today, October 20, 2023, at 12:01 am, according to Projek Lintasan Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Sdn Bhd.
Direct access between the main SUKE Expressway and Jalan Alam Damai will be made possible by this recently constructed elevated interchange, which is 1.5 km long. For commuters travelling from Ulu Kelang and Sri Petaling to Alam Damai, this will provide a more convenient route.
Alam Damai, Taman Connaught, Taman Len Seng, Taman Bukit Anggerik, and the surrounding areas are predicted to have less traffic congestion as a result of the Alam Damai Elevated Interchange's opening. It would also improve access to important areas including Ampang, Kuala Lumpur City, Sungai Besi, and Bukit Jalil, offering a practical substitute for the frequently jam-packed Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) and Jalan Loke Yew during peak hours.

The SUKE Expressway has now been built to its whole, with this being the last part to be unveiled. Recall that Phases 1 and 2 of the SUKE Motorway, which span a combined 24.4 kilometres and include the main line from the Sri Petaling Interchange to the Bukit Antarabangsa Interchange, which was open to the general public on September 16 of 2022 and June 16 of 2023, respectively.
Toll collection will also be conducted concurrently with the opening of the Alam Damai Elevated Interchange at both the entrance and exit ramps.
