Jaguar I-Pace Gets ‘Stealth’ Package – Subtly Enhanced Exterior For RM12,000 Extra

The Jaguar I-Pace was offiically launched back in March this year featuring two guises - Black LE and HSE.
Launched earlier this year, the first all-electric offering to bear the famed Jaguar crest – the I-Pace – already boasted a very stylish and dynamic stance. Much of this is fuelled by its sleek lines, friendly proportions, and arguably its coupe-like lift-back roofline too.
Thankfully, said style comes substantiated well with the way it drove – read our quick impressions of it by clicking these blue words. In other words, it’s fair to say that the Jaguar I-Pace lacked neither style or substance.

Announced this week is a brand new 'Stealth' Package option for the I-Pace. It features subtle enhancements to the exterior, namely its front grille, badge, side mirror caps, as well as the door and bumper mouldings.
Nevertheless, this didn’t stop JLR Malaysia from adding a new styling option for it today, which it dubs as the ‘Stealth’ Package. This option is said to subtly amplify the I-Pace’s already dynamic and athletic stance further and, from the images provided, this may be just what style-conscious prospects seek.
A key change is the switch from traditional-looking faux grille for a sleek, smooth new one finished in Atlas Grey paint and adorned with the black and silver Jaguar badge. Besides that, other subtle tweaks include blacked-out side mirror caps, followed by body-coloured rear diffuser, door and bumper mouldings.

As a refrehser, here's how the Jaguar I-Pace looks like sans new 'Stealth' Package.
Though subtle, these styling additions and tweaks arguably does elevate the I-Pace’s style and stance a little. Prospecting buyers keen to have this stealthy styling treatment to their Jaguar I-Pace need only to tick the ‘Stealth’ Package option and ready an additional RM12,000, which is what this option is tagged at.
As a refresher, the Jaguar I-Pace launched in April this year comes in two guises, Black LE and HSE, that are priced from RM460,800 and RM498,800 respectively. Both variants harness a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive (AWD) powertrain setup rated at 395 HP (400 PS) and 696 NM that enables 01—KM/H in just 4.8 seconds.

Packing a dual-motor AWD powertrain with 395 HP and 696 NM, 0-100 KM/H takes a rapid 4.8 seconds.
Juiced by a sizeable 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the I-Pace also boasts a claimed maximum WLTP range of 470 KM. Said battery also accepts rapid DC charging inputs up to 100 kW, which in turn grants fast 0-80% re-charges attained in just 40 minutes.
More details about the Jaguar I-Pace are available in our launch report, launch video, and our quick impressions mentioned. In the meantime, what do you folks think of the I-Pace’s new ‘Stealth’ Package option? Hit the comments below…
