Perodua Ativa

The first generation 2021 Perodua Ativa SUV is available in three variants available; the X, H and AV. Prices are RM63,553.83, RM68,291.63 and RM73,529.42 respectively. These prices do not include insurance but are inclusive of the sales and service tax. The Ativa highlights space, versatility and new technology.

The design is a modern and futuristic digital layout that gives a more sophisticated and powerful feel to the vehicle.

The instrument cluster is made up of a 7.0-inch TFT display that combines both the rev counter and the trip computer.

The car comes with 5 seats for maximum comfort. All seats are finished in faux leather and suede upholstery. Both the front seats are electric adjustable. The rear seats come with 60:40 split-folding and reclining rear seats.

Both front and rear passengers will be spoiled with maximum comfort as the Ativa was designed for the individuals’ greatest convenience. However, passengers who are slightly taller than average may not have as much leg room despite having fully extended their seat. 

The car has a glove compartment that can fit not only the car manual and service booklet but also is able to fit some essential items such as your facemasks and tissues for a quick fix. There are also multiple other storage space options in the vehicle such as the cavern beneath the front central armrest where passengers are able to fit their sanitizers.

There are 4 cup holders and 4 bottle holders available in the Ativa. Two cup holders are located in front near the front aircon vents and two in the second row armrest. There is one bottle holder located at each door panel.

The vehicle has 2 USB charging ports and a 12V charging socket. 

The measurements are 4,065 mm in length, 1,710 mm in width, 1,635 mm in height, with a wheelbase spanning 2,525 mm.

The Perodua Ativa gives a powerful yet classy look with the main focus being the dual chrome grille bars, shiny elements of the front bumper, as well as the LED headlamps with state of the art technology. 

The rear of the Ativa displays their sleek design that focuses on the more aggressive feel to the lower bumper.

The front headlamps are LED projection units that also include fog lights that double as sequential indicators. The headlamps come with a headlamp assist feature that is a combination of Auto High Beam (AHB) and Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB). 

The tail lamps are LED combination units that also include LED fog lights.

The Ativa is equipped with 16-inch wheels for the X variant. However, the  H and AV variants come with two-tone 17-inch alloys wheels.

The Ativa is equipped with the Advanced Safety Assist 3.0 which includes active safety features such as pre-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front departure alert, lane keep control, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, as well as Auto High Beam (AHB) and Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) features.

The passive features include six airbags, ISOFIX in the second-row child seat anchors, Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), front and reverse camera as well as front and rear parking sensors. 

The driver assistance available is level 2 autonomous driving assistance that includes lane departure warning, lane departure prevention, lane keep control, blind spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control.

Features a 9-inch touchscreen Infotainment System that is not compatible with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, but Android phone users will be able to hook up their device to the screen via SmartLink phone to mirroring (HDMI port).

The Ativa is equipped with a 1.0 litre 1KR-VET VVT-i DOHC engine The car produces 98 hp at 6,000 rpm, 140 Nm of torque from 2,400 to 4,000 rpm. 

The Ativa comes with a seven-speed CVT transmission.

Power is sent to all four wheels.

The Ativa is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds.

The average fuel consumption is approximately 18.9 l/100km for the Perodua Ativa.

The Perodua Ativa comes with touchscreen audio display system, Auto High Beam (AHB) and Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) headlamps, adaptive cruise control, foldable rear seat, steering wheel-mounted audio controls, power door locks with remote keyless entry system and push-start button with smart key.
