The Nissan Almera Turbo Can Be Enhanced From As Low as RM400

The Nissan Almera 3rd-generation N15 Nissan Almera was the cheapest Japanese car on sale in Malaysia - one can even go as far as saying it’s more affordable than desirable to car-buying Malaysians.

However, the N18 Nissan Almera launched in September is set to put that unsavoury reputation to rest. The turbocharged engine is not the only headline grabber, the sharp crisp styling is also a much-welcomed departure from its bulbous predecessor.

Now, Edaran Tan Chong Motors is offering 4 different accessory packages to spice up the car even before it leaves the showroom. Buyers may start off with the Interior styling package at RM400, it comes with LED room lamps, etched stainless steel kick plates, and an anti-slip trunk tray.

Moving up, there’s the Exterior Styling Package to make the handsome sedan look even better. Priced at RM900, it includes door visors, door handle protectors with carbon fibre finish, gloss black lid spoiler. VLT buyers need only pay RM350 for this package as the lid spoiler comes standard.

For RM1,950, the Almera can be made safer and comfier with the Protection Package. This equips the Almera with front and rear dashcam and Solar Gard Armorcoat tinting films. Buyers can also pay RM800 more to upgrade the tint to V-Kool Elite tinting film that features 94% solar heat rejection.

All Almera accessories are warrantied up to 3 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first. It can be included into the finance package at the time of purchase.

The new Almera Turbo is now a true contender in its segment with its advanced drivetrain (it features the mirror bore technology from the Nissan GT-R). A buyer upgrading from the previous generation will find the ride and handling much more confidence-inspiring.

At the time of launch, the management has revealed that Malaysians have the best-equipped version in the region, which is reflected with its indicative pricing of RM85,000 to just a smidge under RM100,000,
