Speedy Recovery Khairy Jamaluddin

Recently, bad road conditions have caused the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Khairy Jamaluddin to take a nasty fall while riding on his bicycle along Kuala Langat.

What hit the lime lights was the quick response from the Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya) to apologise for the bad road condition and the Italian premium bicycle maker Pinarello expressed their regrets, as well as offered a full replacement of his RM 45,000++ Dogma F10 road bicycle.

Many netizens extended their sympathy with a quick recovery message. This also raised the question of why if a YB falls, there was such a fast response? What happened to all the complaints from the public?

We agree that actions should be taken, especially if the road conditions are not in good condition or safe. However, the responsibility of the Public Works Department should be for all Malaysians and not just politicians.
