- Expressively Styled Hyundai Elantra Wins Good Design Awards
What a better way to start the new year with some great acknowledgement on the effort poured into a new product.
The introduction of the all-new Hyundai Elantra saw polarizing opinions thanks to its dramatic lines resultant from the company’s “Sensual Sportiness” design identity.
The annual GOOD DESIGN Awards program, one of the oldest design competitions in the world, really revered what they evaluated and awarded the all-new Hyundai Elantra with a GOOD DESIGN Awards.
The seventh-generation Elantra offers a futuristic and innovative look and feel, thanks to its “Parametric Dynamics” design elements. The vehicle’s exterior design is adorned with unique style features including a parametric-jewel-pattern grille and an H-tail Lamp that creates a Hyundai “flying H” logo-like shape.
Inside, the theme of “Immersive cocoon” interior layout surrounds the driver like an airplane cockpit. High-quality materials were chosen to reflect a more premium interior ambience.
Meanwhile, two harmoniously connected full-colour displays enhance the futuristic feeling of the Elantra.
Hyundai also won GOOD DESIGN Awards for two of their concept electric vehicles (EV) as well as an innovative charging station for EVs.
