The Road Transport Department Malaysia (JPJ) has just announced its customer service initiative to lessen the burden of vehicle owners affected by the current severe flooding situation.

The JPJ has listed three important documents which will be replaced for free due to it being damaged or lost due to floods: Vehicle Ownership Certificate (VOC), driving licence and road tax.

A police report must accompany the request for a replacement, and this initiative takes effect from today until 15 April 2021.

JPJ will also be placing their ‘JPJ Mobile Unit’ at key temporary relief centres. JPJ vehicles deemed suitable will also be mobilized to aid victims.
