Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) revealed that with the purchase of the Passat Elegance and R-Line, customers will be able to experience a luxury stay at the Pangkor Laut Resort.

This deal is available from now until the 30th April this year. Not only that, customers who purchase the Passat Elegance will receive 1-year free insurance worth RM5,500, while customers who purchase the Passat R-Line will receive 1-year free petrol worth RM2,500.

Included in the Pangkor Laut Resort package is a two-night stay for two in a Hill Villa that overlooks the sea and the tropical gardens. In addition to that, the guests will receive three daily meals, as well as a 50-minute massage treatment at the award-winning Spa Village Pangkor Laut. Not only that, the package also comes with return scheduled speedboat transfers to and from Marina Island Pangkor on the mainland.

Pangkor Laut is a privately-owned island off the west coast of Malaysia on the Straits of Malacca that abides to the unique concept of “One Island, One Resort”. There are approximately 140 villas and eight Estates on the island.

“The current travel implementations by the Government meant that we have not been able to travel and get away from the hustle and bustle of our city lives. With this campaign, we are delighted to offer our customers the opportunity to experience two award winners – the Passat, the world’s best-selling mid-sized sedan, and Pangkor Laut Resort, previously voted ‘Number One in the World’ by Condé Nast Traveller,” said Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM.

Both the Passat Elegance and Passat R-Line are powered by a 2.0TSI turbocharged engine that is paired with a 7-speed wet clutch direct shift gearbox (DSG), producing 190 hp and 320 Nm of torque.

On top of that, the R-Line also comes equipped with Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC), as well as additional state-of-the-art technological features. The Elegance and R-Line are priced at RM181,856 and RM203,411 respectively. These prices are in line with the current sales tax exemption.

Mark your calendars for the Passat Escape Event that will be happening on the 10th and 11th of April where Volkswagen dealerships nationwide will be showcasing the features of the Elegance and R-Line models, along with additional deals and promotions!

Those who are interested can walk into any authorised showroom or even tune in to the respective dealers’ social media channels.

All Volkswagen models come with 3-years free maintenance, 5-years unlimited mileage warranty and 5-years roadside assistance.
