Bespoke Rolls Royce Black Badge Cullinan, Adorning The Sloss’s Racing Livery
Rolls Royce Motor Cars Los Gatos recently delivered a bespoke commission of their Rolls Royce Black Badge Cullinan, belonging to automotive and racing enthusiasts, Ben and Christine Sloss.
Panning around the exterior, in its entirety the Black Badge Cullinan can be seen draped with a unique bespoke hue called ‘Pikes Peak Blue’.
Combined with detailing on the hand painted coachline, wheel-centre pinstripes and brake callipers that see refined flashes of ‘Forge Yellow’.
In uniform, these two shades signify the colours of the flag of Modena, the northern Italian province, and the livery carried by all the Sloss’s racing cars.
Significantly for the Sloss’s commission, it brandishes the silver-on-black ‘RR’ moniker tastefully, its doors and windshields encased with fairly blacked out windows and to epitomize the Black Badge’s stealthy demeanour, it rolls on a set of custom two-tone Black Badge wheels.
Positioned at the front, sitting atop of the dark Pantheon grille is the company’s iconic lady, the ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’, which was crafted out of a solid billet of carbon fibre.
Upon opening the front doors, greeting the occupants are bespoke Black Badge treadplates. It has been put through the process of Physical Vapor Deposition coating in black and carved to reveal the silver metal of the client’s name, Benjamin on the driver’s side, Christine on the passenger’s side.
Transitioning into the interior, hand crafted in navy blue leather with detailing stitches and signets in ‘Forge Yellow’ encompasses the upholstery. Also, contrasting highlights akin to the upholstery can be seen on the fascia and the door pockets.
Situated on the fascia is a bespoke technical clock, made with Navy Blue anodised brushed stainless-steel that has been detailed and heightened with more ‘Forge Yellow’. Overall highlights of the ‘Forge Yellow’ detailing were specially developed to harmonise with the dark blue interior theme.
Personalizing the Black Badge’s interior even further, for each door panel, the leather has been embroidered with Mrs. Sloss’s personal racing logo of a stylized stiletto.
Wrapping it up, this fresh rolling Black Badge Cullinan complements well and embodies truly what the Sloss’s represents with every detail put into it emphasizing the overall bespoke commission and most importantly, the elegance that is Rolls Royce.
