- Rolls-Royce Ghoster - The Most Opulent Ride Into The Afterlife!
If you're determined to cruise in style, even into the afterlife, look no further than the Rolls-Royce Ghoster. This is a creation by an Italian firm called Biemme Special Cars, which is renowned for their flair in turning luxury automobiles into the world's most extravagant hearses.
Crafting a hearse that's both elegant and, let's face it, a bit macabre is no easy feat. Yet, the Ghoster pulls it off with a design so sleek that it's practically a regular Ghost's sophisticated cousin, albeit one that ferries a passenger towards the afterlife instead of business meetings.
From the front bumper to the upper windshield, it's business as usual, and unmistakably a Ghost. However, things get interesting with an upward-sloping roof, colossal side windows, and a wheelbase that seems to stretch to infinity.
The secret to the long wheelbase, according to Biemme, is a specially added tubular structure extension covered in steel panels, which is similar to what's applied in the construction of stretched limousines.
Inside, the passenger compartment is your typical Ghost(ly) affair, but the real fun begins when you start spec-ing it up. Wood trim, leather seats, and all the opulence you can imagine come standard, right down to the killer 1,300-watt sound system — because even the dearly departed deserve good tunes, right?
Other options present include a built-in drink cooler, twinkling Starlight headliner, internet connectivity (for the ghosts on the go), and LED lighting to set the mood. What about rear doors with curtains? Yes, these can be primed too, making it nifty for those seeking extra privacy.
Now, Biemme thoughtfully separates the living and the, um, less living with a shatter-proof divider. They also threw in a power-operated platform for ease of loading, along with LED lighting, for the dearly departed's final ride. And let's not forget matching wood and leather because even in the afterlife, style matters.
But what about the power you say? Don’t worry the Ghoster doesn't skimp on power. It packs the same mechanical underpinnings of the Ghost, which sees a 6.7-liter twin-turbo V12 that puts out 563HP and 850Nm torque. Surely, this sees the Ghoster able to effortless waft away rapidly, even with the added weight of eternity on its shoulders.
As for the price tag, Biemme is keeping that under wraps for now. Predictably, such opulence doesn't come cheap. Nevertheless, for those willing to invest in a stylish and very opulent last ride, perhaps nothing is too extravagant, yes?
