Man Hoped That By Fasting For 40 Days, God Will "gift" Him A Lamborghini!

A man nearly starved to death after not eating and drinking for 40 days in hopes that God would "give" him a Lamborghini sports car if he fasted.

According to a Daily Star report, the man, Mark Muradzira, 27, did so out of desperation to gift the luxury car worth £ 150,000 (RM879,231) to his girlfriend.

Due to the fact that Muradzira was out of a job, he decided to fast for 40 days, hoping that God would grant him the luxury car.

In fact, to refrain from eating and drinking, Muradzira who is also the Youth Leader of the Risen Saints Church is said to be willing to turn into a hermit in a remote mountainous area in Bindura, Zimbabwe.

Fortunately, his friends who became aware of his disappearance on the 33rd day, launched an operation to track him down around the mountainous area.

Muradzira was found lifeless and rushed to Bindura General Hospital for treatment.

The doctor who treated him stated that if he was taken to the hospital any later, Muradzira could have died due to the lack of vitamins and minerals in his body.

“Muradzira should have fasted to ask for a job as he is unemployed, instead of fasting to get a car. Muradzira's actions were completely absurd, "said the head of the Risen Saints Church, Bishop Mawuru.
