Starting from tomorrow, up to three individuals are allowed to be in private vehicles, taxis and e-hailing.

This means, in addition to the driver only a maximum of two passengers are allowed to be in a vehicle.

However, for transport vehicles and commercial vehicles, the number of passengers is said to depend on the commercial vehicle registration license.

Therefore, there is no change for commercial vehicles.

Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases since last April, the government has decided to implement the Movement Control Order (MCO) nationwide, as well as are taking some strict measures that will be implemented starting from tomorrow until June 7. This move was taken in order to curb the further spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Due to this, the government has enforced inter-district and inter-state bans with the exception of medical purposes, death, emergencies, vaccine appointments or long-distance couples.

On top of that, the public is also not allowed to do sports and recreational activities except for jogging and exercise in an open area.

Meanwhile, all institutions are closed and the government has implemented the Work From Home policy, house visits as well as visits to the grave in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri is also not allowed.

Apart from that, the government also agreed not to allow dine-in activities (eating in restaurants), as well as limiting the number of individuals that are to perform Aidilfitri prayers at mosques and suraus.

Following that, the public is advised to always maintain social distancing, wear a face mask and adhere to the standard operating procedures that have been set in place.
