Jaguar Land Rover introduces new R-Dynamic Black models that have been manufactured from the four-cylinder and V8 R-Dynamic Coupe and Convertible.

The F-TYPE features the Black Pack and five split-spoke 20-inch ‘Style 5039’ wheels that come with a gloss black finish. However, these exclusive wheels are not available on any other model in the range.

Also available is the option of three metallic paints: Santorini Black, Eiger Grey or Firenze Red.

As for the interior, the slimline Performance Seats come with a 12-way adjustment, as well as are trimmed in Windsor leather that include options of either Ebony with Light Oyster contrast stitching or Mars with Flame Red stitching.

Following that, the 12.3-inch reconfigurable Interactive Driver Display uses the same monogram design. Not forgetting the subtle refinements such as the satin-finish aluminium gearshift paddles, an Ebony suede cloth headliner, as well as illuminated tread plates that feature Jaguar script.

Under the hood, the 2.0-litre turbocharged Ingenium four-cylinder engine is able to generate 296 hp and a maximum torque from just 1,500rpm. Coming as a rear-wheel drive, the vehicle can accelerate from 0-100km/h in around 5.6 seconds, along with the top speed of 249km/h.

As for the 5.0-litre supercharged V8, it produces 443hp and a maximum torque of 580Nm from 2,500rpm. This comes with an option of all-wheel drive with Intelligent Driveline Dynamic or rear-wheel drive.

In addition to that, both the V8 powertrains come with an electronic active rear differential in order to improve traction. It is also able to speed up to 0-100km/h in around 4.6 seconds, along with a maximum speed of 285km/h.

As for the F-TYPE R, it is available only in all-wheel drive, coming with a supercharged V8 that produces 567hp and 700Nm of torque. It is able to accelerate to 100km/h in around 3.7 seconds, along with an electronically-limited maximum speed of 299km/h.

The engines of the F-TYPE R-Dynamic Black is are all paired with an eight-speed Quickshift transmissions that come with full manual control, using either the SportShift gear selector or the gearshift paddles.

Coming as standard is the Jaguar’s Adaptive Dynamics system with Configurable Dynamics. Customers also have options to pick between any of the V8 F-TYPE engines in order to benefit from the Quiet Start function.

This function allows the electrically actuated bypass valves in the rear silencer to remain shut until they open up automatically under load. Although, this function can also be cancelled by choosing Dynamic Mode, or even by pressing the switchable exhaust button before starting the engine.
