After decades of passing, all car enthusiasts may pop their champagne as the Acura Integra has announced its comeback with a price starting at RM125,000. The legendary Acura will be manufactured in the USA, which will reach dealers anytime soon.

Coming to the US market under the Acura brand, the Japan-oriented supercar transmitted its engine powered by a 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo engine with 6-speed manual transmission and serving up to 200 hp and 260 Nm of torque as referred to as Honda Civic Si, which is priced at RM113,786.

Based on its prototype form that pays tribute to the Phoenix Yellow, Acura is coloured in Indy Yellow Pearl paint as featured in 2000 to 20001 Integra Type R. The Acura resembles DC2 and DC5 Honda Integra Type-R models.

Acura’s line-up also featured the ILX and TLX sport sedans, the RDX and MDX sport-utility vehicles, high-performance Type S variants and the electrified NSX supercar.

Looking dashing with the added “Integra'' nameplate on the rear sides, it brings a very presence and striking yellow as background. The embossed nameplate is hard not to notice as it can be seen under the driver's side headlight and passenger's side taillight.

Equipped with the 19-inch wheels, large yellow brake callipers and exhaust tips balances the whole bumper area. Then, spotted on the prototype is the aggressive rear wheel arches and rear fascia with dual-exhaust finishers that has lifted the presence of its wide track.

Highlighting the elegant Black hues on Acura’s roof, spoiler, rear diffuser, and front grille enhances modern taste by its car marque in completing this rare coupe-like road presence apart from oversized Brembo brakes that bring such strong appearance.

Featuring frameless Diamond Pentagon grille combined with Jewel Eye LED headlights as signature completed the front panel of Acura. Also, Acura’s back view features an eye-catching design, and its bulky logo is placed right in the middle.

The fifth generation of Acura will be available in a five-door premium sport compact where it is rare for a supercar that comes with a long bonnet. However, Acura has a robust presence on the outside, yet there is no input on the interior.
