Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has launched the most anticipated 11th Generation Honda Civic with a starting price of RM125,634.64 without insurance.

Just like what we mentioned in yesterday’s Civic RS article, the Honda Civic is introduced in three variants – E, V and RS.

All variants are running on the 1.5-litre turbocharged VTEC engine that produces 180 hp and 240 Nm torque. It is paired with an improved continuously variable transmission (CVT).

While most of the information of the RS variant has been revealed in our article, here are the details of the E and V.

Starting with the E variant, the entry-level variant is fitted with Auto Headlights, LED Daytime Running Lights, LED Rear Combi Lights, and Shark Fin Antenna. This variant also uses 7-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity.

As for the interior, the basic variant is covered with Fabric Upholstery and 7-inch display audio that have four speakers blasting its sound.

Moving to the V variant, it comes with Leather Upholstery. Compared to the E variant, the display audio adds Wireless Apple CarPlay Connectivity to its 9-inch Advanced Display Audio, 8 speakers and Honda CONNECT.

As for the safety features, all comes with six airbags, ISOFIX I-Size Type, Auto Door Look, ABS, EBD, HSA, ESS, Driver Attention Monitor, Security Alarm with Immobiliser, and Honda has installed the new Honda SENSING to all its variants.

Step up to the V variant, and you’ll receive the Honda Connect suite of telematic services, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and illuminated vanity mirrors, while the RS adds automatic wipers. Unfortunately, the previously offered dual-zone climate control is nowhere to be found here – not even on the top RS model.

The difference between E and V is that the E does not include the Honda Connect where it comprises Auto-Dimming Rear-View Mirror and Illuminated Vanity Mirrors.

There are five colours made available – Ignite Red Metallic, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl,

The 11th Generation Honda Civic is priced at RM125,634.64 for the E variant, while the V is retailed at RM138,043.36. Meanwhile, the range-topping RS variant carries a price tag of RM144,350.09. It comes with a five-year, unlimited-mileage warranty and five times free maintenance servicing.

During the press conference held earlier, Honda has set a monthly sales target of 900 units. However, 1200 bookings have been made so far. Out of 1200 units, the variance breakdowns are 30 percent for E, 40 percent for V and 30 percent for RS.

Also, the delivery process will take about a month or two, depending on the variant.
