The Mitsubishi XPANDER had its best sales performance year, with 7,397 units sold from January to December 2021 due to its combination of style, practicality, and competitive pricing.

Apart from that, the Mitsubishi Triton pick-up truck also gained a good sales performance by 34 percent, with 9,268 vehicles sold.

In total, Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) sold 17,489 total units of vehicles where it has increased by 91 percent compared to last year’s sales percentage from January to December 2021.

“Despite another year of being disrupted by COVID-19, we are thankful for our customers for showing trust, confidence, and loyalty towards the Mitsubishi Motors brand.

We are pleased that XPANDER has enjoyed strong sales performance thanks to extending the tax-free incentive period.

At Mitsubishi Motors, we have now progressed to increase our production volume for XPANDER, to cater for higher production capacity, and to fulfil all booking demands,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia.

With the recent flood incident, the company is offering a 30 percent discount on Mitsubishi genuine spare parts and a 50 percent discount on labour costs from today until January 20 for damaged vehicles.

Followingly, Mitsubishi Motors will also offer a free towing service. To request this service, all customers need to contact the Mitsubishi Assist 24Hrs customer care line (MA24) at 1-800-88-2166.

Mitsubishi owners who arrange for their vehicle towing without the assistance of MA24 and insurance coverage are also entitled to rebates worth up to RM300.
