- Toyota Continue Expanding Global Initiatives
UMW Toyota Motor has delivered a total unit of 6,366 Toyota and 66 Lexus vehicles in the month of February. Keeping up with its good performance, the company increased by 27 percent compared to last year’s record by the same month.
Revealed last month, the unveiling of Toyota Camry emphasises on Toyota New Global Architecture Platform (TNGA) that merges with Direct Shift 8-speed auto transmission alongside 2.5 Dynamic Force for its engine.
In a collaboration with Super Evergreen (Nusajaya) Sdn Bhd., Toyota launched a 2S outlet with Body and Paint services in Skudai, Johor to extend its business in the state.
On top of that, the company announced an ongoing March promotion that offers value added benefits worth RM4,000, featuring the Toyota best-sellers Vios and Yaris.
“As we continue to innovate and bring mobility products offering the absolute best technology and safety that enhances lifestyles, we trust that Malaysians will continue to choose Toyota as their preferred road companion,” said president of UMW Toyota Motor, Ravindran K.
The company also contributed a new Digital Doppler Ultrasound Machine worth RM140,000 to National Cancer Society Malaysia (NCSM as part of their CSR activity.
Also, the 15th Dream Car Art Contest successfully gathered over 2,300 entries and three winners of the National Contest will be representing Malaysia in the World Contest in Japan.
