Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV Spotted Putting Four-Wheel Steering on action
The US based automotive portal Motor1.com has released a series of photos of what they believe is the Mercedes-AMG EQE SUV.
From the photos they shared, the camouflaged Mercedes-AMG EQE also comes with a four-wheel steering system where the rear wheel turns a little according to the feedback of the front steering.
Looking at the angle of the rear wheels, it seems like an upgraded 10-degree setup instead of the lesser 4.5-degree configuration setting.
After the car marque lessened its turning circle from 12.5 to 10.7 metres, the EQE sedan felt "as manoeuvrable as a compact car in the city”, quoting from Mercedes itself.
With its Affalterbach-tuned version integrated, the AMG EQE 53 SUV should have an added front electric motor and AWD which transmit more power compared to EQE 350 that offers rear-mounted motor generating 288 horsepower and 530 of torque.
At the moment, the vehicle is adorned in an AMG-specific Black Panel radiator grille with vertical chrome strips that stands out for its whole fascia background.
Based on some information, German manufacturers are planning to launch the SUV variant of this version at the Guangzhou Motor Show somewhere in November.
Let’s wait for the updates! Stay tuned.
