- The Comeback of Volkswagen e-UP!
Due to closed orders since 2020, the fully electric Volkswagen e has returned to the market with an opening price of at least €26,985 (RM113,985) in the Europe market.
According to Volkswagen, the order stop was meant to eliminate backlogs as the delivery time due to its popularity had in some cases increased to 16 months.
The mini crossover is equipped with an 83 hp electric motor and has a WLTP range of 258 kilometres. Fast charging is possible with a CCS connection enabling the battery to be charged up to 80 percent of its capacity within an hour with a charging capacity of 40 kW.
Among other standard features, it comes with Climatronic air conditioning, a leather-trimmed multifunction steering wheel and 15-inch “Blade” alloy wheels.
Globally, VW e-up model sold for more than half a million units among all EVs and took the second most popular brand in Germany last year.
Designed with an impressive range and space for four people, VW e-Up achieved more than 80,000 units registered all around the world.
