- The All-New bZ4X BEV Debuted in Japan Soon!
Toyota Motor Corporation has announced its new bZ4X BEV will enter its global market in North America, Europe and China alongside promoting its mission to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
Ready to be debuted on May 12, the bz4X is offering 123Wh of power efficiency within 559km travelling distance.
The company has conducted high level of safety for the battery consists of:
1. Toyota Safety Sense
2. Toyota's latest active safety package
3. A body structure that can respond to collisions from all directions
4. A battery pack that contributes to ensuring protection performance in the event of a collision
As mentioned, Toyota is developing a full line up of electrified vehicles consisting of HEVs, PHEVs, BEVs, and FCEVs.
Cabin wise, the bZ4X offers in a medium segment SUV class-leading legroom for front and rear seats. Then, it has a low instrument panel and large panoramic view moonroof for specially equipped vehicles and an upholstered instrument panel to create a calm interior.
In terms of charging, it must be compatible with 150 kW DC quick charging. A 90-kW charger can recharge the battery to 80 percent of capacity in 40 minutes. Actual charging times may vary depending on conditions at the time of charging.
The battery can be fully charged in about 12 hours using a standard charger (200V, 6kW, 30A).
