2022 BMW X5 xDrive45e In Malaysia – RM 457,498, Laserlight, Updated Active Protection, 21-Inch Wheels

Meet the locally assembled (CKD) BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport!

This time around, it comes with minor changes and an increase in safety standards.

Priced at RM 457,498 (on-the-road and include the extended warranty and service package, as well as SST exemption), the 2022 BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport now includes BMW Laserlight, which is said to improve visibility on the road. 

The Adaptive Headlights with BMW Selective Beam are outfitted with laser high beam modules that provide significantly more light intensity than standard bi-LED lights.

The new BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport features Active Protection, which adds two more side airbags to the vehicle's second row, bringing the total number of airbags to eight.

If an accident is imminent, the Active Protection also prepares passengers in the cabin for impact. The reversible seatbelt pre-tensioning is implemented to tighten the seatbelt to the ideal tension based on the passenger's body upon seatbelt fastening.

The 2022 BMW X5 xDrive45e M Sport runs on new 21-inch 741M Alloy Wheels in Orbit Grey, in place of the 20-inch 748M Star Spoke matte black wheels.

Elsewhere, things remain the same. The B58 3.0-litre straight-six turbocharged engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission with an electric motor sandwiched between, producing 394 PS/600 Nm.
