A New Value Electric Micro-Mobility Product Developed Through Honda’s Open Innovation

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has introduced Striemo, a one person and a three-wheeled electric micro-mobility product which price is yet to be announced soon.  

Striemo features an original balance assist mechanism that enables stable riding with less likelihood of falling through its entire speed range, from walking slowly to riding a bicycle.

As scheduled, Striemo will go on sale in Japan before the end of this year, and in Europe in 2023.  


Striemo key features (prototype-Japan Launch Edition)

Size: L 1090mm, W 480mm, H 1180mm

Weight; approx. 20kg

Maximum speed: 25km/h

Ride mode(3mode):1) 6km/h、2) 15km/h、3) 25km/h

Crusing distance per one charge: 30km (Actual measurement, it may change depends on ride)

Charging time: 3.5 hour 

According to Co-Founder and CEO of Striemo Inc Yotaro Mori said, his goal is to make Striemo one of the most used mobility products in people's everyday lives around the world and create a better world where people enjoy the freedom of mobility.

‘’Striemo is a new mobility product developed while leveraging know-how in “human studies,” which I amassed through my experience in the development of motorcycles at Honda’’ he added.
