The All -New Toyota Veloz Available for Bookings, Premium MPV Better Than Avanza?
UMW Toyota Motor introduces All-New Toyota Veloz, a seven-seater MPV which is available for bookings from today at all authorized Toyota showrooms nationwide.
Available in five colours, the All-New Toyota Veloz is offering Silver Metallic with Black Roof, Blue Metallic with Black Roof, White, Metallic Bluish Black, and Red Metallic.

The premium crossover is carrying a price tag with an estimated on-the-road price (OTR) of RM95, 000.00 without insurance coverage.
UMWT claimed that the new model is a successor to the Toyota Avanza only built with more refined features especially when we’re getting the CKD version of Veloz in the market.
Engine wise, the latest edition of Toyota Veloz is using a 1.5L Toyota 2NR-VE 4-cylinder petrol engine combined with a 7-speed CVT transmission. In comparison to Alza, Toyota claims that Veloz rides better performance than previous Avanza as it has new front-wheel drive (FWD) platform and suspension.

Looking at the interior, there’s a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and 9 -inch infotainment system with wireless connectivity to Apple CarPlay and Android. On top of that, occupants get to utilize "Qi" wireless charger, USB charging ports as well as 12V accessory outlets to charge devices.
Looking at the bodyshell, the new seven-seater MPV is getting LED headlights with daytime running lights (DRL). There’s also roof rails to provide additional cargo space to users in addition to boot space with a capacity of 408-litre with third row seats folded.
Safety aspects comprises of Toyota Safety Sense technology that acts as active safety package that helps drivers to always be alert to potential accidents. The technology consists of a pre-violation system (PCS) and adaptive cruise control (ACC).

According to president of UMW Toyota Motor, Ravindran. K. mentioned, with the SST exemption ending on June 30, 2022, the start of order taking for the all -new Toyota Veloz today is a sign of appreciation to customers for their support of the Toyota brand.
"We hope Toyota fans and other buyers who want to buy this car for the family, will take the opportunity and take advantage of the SST exemption before it expires’’ he added.
