A Six-Wheeler Beast Unlike Any Other, Rezvani’s Extremely Dimensioned, Street Legal Hercules

Since its inception in 2013, Rezvani, the Southern Californian-based company has expanded its vehicle offerings to include the Tank, an SUV with military elements.

Outstandingly, the Tank is also offered in an armored variant with body panels able to stand up to AK-47 fire.

Now, furthering its line-up, the company presents its latest and most insane creation to date, an ultra-luxury, street legal, armored six-wheeler pickup truck, the Hercules.

Its build underpins the Jeep Gladiator’s architecture, while harboring the same V6 engine that powers the Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Fret not, the beast is also offered with stronger powertrains. E.g., a 500 hp 6.4-liter V8, a 1,000 hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and a 1,300 hp supercharged 7.0-liter V8.

Standard in the base model is the 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6, but other engines come with a slight increase to the Hercules’ base price of USD 259,000 (RM 1,148,147).

The 6.4-liter V8 adds USD 40,000 (RM 177,320), the 6.2-liter V8 adds USD 95,000 (RM 421,135), and the 7.0-liter V8 adds USD 249,000 (RM 1,103,817).

Married to all the powertrains and transmitting all power to its six wheels are a choice of either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.

Although it has a standard left-hand drive system, a right-hand drive conversion is offered for USD 6,500 (RM 28,815). A sport exhaust system is also available for USD 1,750 (RM 7,757).

Elsewhere, it plows on 4.0-inch Fox off-road shocks suspensions, large all-terrain tires, on-demand six-wheel drive, and a brake setup featuring 16-inch rotors with eight-piston calipers.

Dominantly, the Hercules stands at 6,198 mm long, 2,007 mm tall, 2,144 mm wide (front) and 2,286 mm wide (rear), and a 3,505 mm wheelbase spanning from the front axle to the first two at the rear.

Brandishing plenty of custom bodywork with all sheet metal fabricated by Rezvani, it has an exterior that is stretched significantly to accommodate the extra axle.

Diving into the beast’s belly, the interior is akin to the Gladiator, but Rezvani has given it an upgrade with its own custom upholstery design and materials.

Then, the dashboard and center console are unmistakably Jeep inspired, especially in terms of the infotainment system and instrument cluster.

Said connectivity is equipped with a 9-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, while a 12-inch display is also available.

To further its luxurious appeal, the upgraded infotainment system can be improved with a four-channel subwoofer, two amps, six speakers and a JL Audio subwoofer.

What’s more, a USD 500 (RM 2,217) camera kit offers front and rear recording devices that run continuously when the vehicle is parked.

Rezvani also offers a FLIR (forward-looking infrared) camera system, an LED interior lighting package, a winch and automatically retracting side steps.

On top of all that, it doesn’t just have a beastly demeanor with high-tech functions, the Hercules backs it up with several unique and over-the-top yet cool features.

For example, it has electrically charged door handles as an anti-theft measure, along with a bulletproof armored variant that features underbody protection from explosives.

Of which, it features an EMP protection device that can prevent damage from electromagnetic pulses, which can be emitted from large explosions and other devices.

Additional fittings include bright lights, a smokescreen device, battery trickle charger, a central tire inflation and deflation system, a center console locking safe and a starry night headliner.

That said, the Rezvani Hercules might seem to cater to a niche market accounting its build and cost, but that doesn’t mean the off-roaders out there won’t be interested in this six-wheeled beast.
