- JPJ Launches Ops Raya Aidiladha From July 7 to 13

To protect the safety of road users when they travel back to the village, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has begun the Hari Raya Aidiladha 2022 Special Op, which will run from now through next Wednesday (7–13 July).
The operation will involve all road users, including bus drivers, in tracking, monitoring, and taking action.
The following offences will be highlighted:
Driving over speed limit
Not obeying traffic signals
Overtaking at double lines
Driving in the emergency lane
Cut the line
Driving while using a mobile phone
Do not wear a seat belt or helmet
Carry overload and dangerous cargo
Driving or riding without a valid driving license or road tax
JPJ officers will go undercover to monitor express buses at 28 major bus terminals across the country. Also, JPJ will carry out surveillance at busy intersections along the roadway.
Operation of the SUNGAI BESI Toll;
From 7 to 11 p.m. yesterday, JPJ inspected 1,317 automobiles in the operation.
441 violations in all were found.
Five cars and nine motorcycles were among the 14 vehicles seized.
23 foreign drivers were examined by the National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK) and the Malaysian Immigration Department (JIM).
A motorcyclist in his 30s was detained after testing positive for syabu.
