A collection worth GBP 1,000,000 (MYR 5,168,505), that's the value of all the cars a couple of YouTubers founded in an old storage space in Surrey, London.

Exploration of the compound was made in May 2020, and a video was shared by the YouTubers, Ben and Eran through their YouTube channel, Lost Adventures.

Eran said, "I have been watching this place for several years because it looks interesting. We started exploring this residential building without knowing anything. Ventured in and saw cars worth millions of pounds hiding in this place.”

Their find is truly amazing, as the collection ranges from many British made classic cars of all kinds. Among them are Formula 1 cars, Bentley and Bristol Cars.

Notably, the latter is an old small-scale car manufacturing company, known for its expertise in hand-building luxury vehicles.

Perhaps the most interesting, amid them is a Proton Perdana once owned by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, which was sent to the UK for hybrid energy studies.

In addition to all of these cars, there are also retro taxis, several types of prototype vehicles and wooden replicas.

Elsewhere, according to David Fletcher, the person responsible for auctioning off the collection, this place used to be a storage facility for car manufacturer Bristol Cars.

He told The Sun newspaper, this “amazing collection” is actually also “very sad”, because it shows the end of the car company.

The Bristol-based company was established after the end of the second world war, as part of the Bristol Airplane Company which later continued operations as an independent company in 1960.

However, it closed down in 2011, then made a comeback in 2015 with a new car called the Bristol Bullet, but the car did not enter the market.

Unfortunately, due to several undisclosed reasons, Bristol Cars went under again in 2020, and almost all of its assets were sold.

Be it so, moving forward, it will return again with a new name 'British Electric Vehicle Company' on its 80th anniversary in 2025.

That said, all of the classic cars in the compound are up for auction, and as stated by Fletcher, the estimated amount of the entire collection is as mentioned above.
