Meet the all-new Nissan's 2023 X-Trail SUV! The Rogue has been revealed for Europe, with 5- and 7-seat configurations, as well as e-Power and VC-Turbo mild hybrid powertrains.

The X-Trail for the European market looks nearly identical to those sold in other markets although onboard, the 2023 Nissan X-Trail sports a large and high-resolution 12.3-inch NissanConnect display with navigation, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto support, Wireless CarPlay, fully electronic 12.3-inch TFT multi-info screen that displays traffic and vehicle information.

Under the hood, the SUV is available with electrified engines, including a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which produces a maximum power output of 161hp (163 PS) and a peak torque of 300 Nm on top of its Xtronic CVT unit transferring power to the front wheels.

According to the WLTP standard, the new X-Trail can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 9.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 200 kmph. Fuel efficiency for the SUV is rated at 14.08 kmpl.

More than that, the configuration comes with the brand's e-4 CORE system, which uses a second e-motor (126 hp and 195 Nm) to power the rear wheels where its output increases slightly in the all-wheel drive configuration, to (210hp) 213 PS.

The e-4ORCE system's extra power allows the X-trail to reach 100 kmph in just 7 seconds. With a top speed of 180 kilometres per hour, it completes the century sprint in just 8 seconds, although for the standard e-Power setup, the latest SUV also finishes the century sprint in also 8 seconds yet offers a top speed of 170 kmph.

Mated to a 12V hybrid system with a small lithium-ion battery to store energy is paired with the VC-Turbo engine, allowing for quick restart, extended idle stop, coasting stop, and around 6 Nm of torque assist.

Nissan also offers two e-Power self-charging hybrid systems for the compact SUV, including a 1.5-litre VC-Turbo 3-cylinder mill that generates the necessary electric energy for the battery, which is then fed to the front-mounted e-motor while the engine produces 201hp (204 PS) and 330 Nm of torque.

Safety aspects includes ProPILOT assist with Navi-link which comprises adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist with blind spot assist, Moving Object Detection alert and Nissan's Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with predictive function.

The Nissan X-Trail has been in production for over three generations and has sold over six million units worldwide. The fourth-generation model debuted nearly two years ago, and it has since been sold in several markets, including China, Japan, and Australia.
