- Audi RS3 Sedan Now Available for Booking with RM650K-750K Price Tag
If you find the recently launched Audi A3 S-Line too tame for your liking, then good news for you!
PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM), Audi’s official Malaysian distributor, recently announced the Audi RS3 Sedan is finally open for booking. The performance compact sedan is dubbed for a price tag around RM650,000 to RM750,000.

The third-gen RS3 Sedan is the performance-minded iteration of its more subdued sister, the Audi A3. Akin to its bigger RS siblings, the RS3 features a widened body, the standard blackened badges and front grille. Additional blackened trimmings including its side skirt, rear diffuser, side mirrors as well as its tailgate spoiler.

Stepping inside the RS3 and the first thing that catches one’s eyes is the RS’s race car-like cockpit display. Aside from the RS exclusive graphics, the massive 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit display also comes with track-focused features such as displays for lap times, g-forces, as well as acceleration times for 0-100 KMH and 0-200 KMH.
The interior also boasts additional RS-only trimmings such as, all-metal foot pedals, standard RS multi-functional steering wheel and the RS sports seats. The seats now are available with stitching that matches the exterior colour, as well as supple Nappa leather upholstery and RS logo etching.

Being an RS, the performance upgrades are what matters the most. Sporting Audi’s proprietary quattro all-wheel drive system, the RS3 also debuts Audi’s new RS torque splitter. The debutant torque splitter works by distributing the torque between the front and rear wheels variably, a much-needed addition to shed split seconds of track time.
The RS3 stopping power comes from its six-piston brakes, developed in-house. On the back, the new RS sports exhaust system features a fully variable flap control system. This enables drivers to control the exhaust openings via Audi drive select, thus providing a broader exhaust sound option.
Mounted against the brakes are the new two-tone, ten spoke 19-inch wheels, wrapped around by the Pirelli P Zero “Trofeo R” performance semi-slick tyres. An upgrade that truly strikes the balance between style and performance.

Boasting an award-winning 2.5 L 5-cyl TFSI power unit, the new RS3 now outputs 395 HP and 500 NM of torque. The dual clutch seven-speed S Tronic transmission has been improved with shorter shifting times and a sportier gear ratio. Said power unit and improved drivetrain combination now propels the RS3 from 0 to 100 KMH in 3.8 seconds, with a V-max of 290 KMH.
Thanks to all those performance upgrades, the RS3 Sedan now currently holds the Nurburgring lap time record in the compact car category, dethroning the Renault Megane RS Trophy-R.

The new RS3 Sedan is now available in two new exclusive colours: Kyalami green and Kemora grey. Bookings can be made at all Audi Centres nationwide, with an asking price ranging between RM650,000 to RM750,000. The premium price comes with 5 years unlimited mileage warranty and roadside assistance, as well as 3 years of free maintenance.
