- Better Public Transportation, Tram System In Malacca

In light of the election, transport minister, Datuk Seri Dr. Wee Ka Siong proposes for a more advanced public transport system in Malacca, including the realization of a tram system.
According to him, this could be achievable if there is stability and compatibility between the federal and state governments.
“This is a proposal from the Malacca government, and as the government’s transport caretaker, we will see to it that their wishes are carried on because it is something that has been discussed,” he expressed.
Apart from that, the non-stop bus service transformation program will be re-planned in addition to refining the High-Speed Rail (HSR) project for the benefit of the Malacca people.
He concluded, “Plus, we need a bigger mandate to gain the trust of voters, so that this matter can be planned better.”
