Bukit Aman undertakes 24-hour roadblocks in crucial areas around the country beginning Tuesday (Nov 22), according to Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani.

According to the Inspector-General of Police, it is part of the police's attempts to prevent crime through omnipresence in order to maintain public order and safety.

"For the convenience of road users, no roadblocks will be conducted at peak hours, be it in the morning or later during the day.

"We advise the public to cooperate by following instructions at the roadblocks," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Nov 23).

The IGP stated that the public should not be concerned about their everyday routines because police are committed to safeguarding their safety.
