- First Look: Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato
Ahead of its official debut on Nov 30, Italian sportscar marque Lamborghini has opted to grant the world an early look of its upcoming Huracan Sterrato special.
Indeed, these first batch of images the firm released have at least confirmed the run-out special’s exterior design. As far as things go, this Italian vision of a go-anywhere supercar is set to give its German cousin, the upcoming Porsche 911 Dakar, a run for its money, to say the least.
Being a rally-styled off-road special, the Sterrato boasts rugged body cladding, visibly lifted ride height, added roof scoop, beefy Bridgestone Dueler all-terrain tyres, as well as additional LED lights in the front bumper instead of the original concept’s roof-mounted LED light bar.
Also visible in this final pre-production prototype are the meaty side skirts and beefed up underbody protection both up front and at the rear.
What’s interesting too is the fact that House Sant’agatha chose to dress the Huracan Sterrato in a Khaki-hued paintwork. This is then matched with black-finished wheels, unpainted flared wheel arches, as well as red-painted body accents and brake calipers.
Aesthetics aside, Lamborghini opted not to show any interior images, but it’s expected to retain much of what’s already seen in the existing Huracan Evo/Performante/STO.
Lamborghini also didn’t release any technical details. What’s certain is that the Huracan Sterrato will be the last pure ICE-powered model to bear the famed raging bull’s crest, meaning we can expect the Huracan’s familiar naturally-aspirated, rev-happy V10 mill to power the Sterrato, along with a tweaked all-wheel-drive (AWD) system.
We’ll have more once the Huracan Sterrato officially debuts later this month.
