- Video: Tesla Model Y Crashes Into Other Vehicles, Kills Two

On November 28, a black Tesla Model Y in Taizhou, Zhejiang province, ran a red light, striking two other vehicles. It came to a halt after running to the roadside guardrail, and all three vehicles involved were severely damaged.
The motorist who caused the collision was mildly hurt, and his accident resulted in the deaths of two others.

Tesla accelerated out of the left-turn lane, through the junction, proceeded onward, and accelerated to the next red light intersection.
China is Tesla’s second-largest market. Video of the incident circulated on Weibo- Chinese social media platform and was among the top trending topics.
According to traffic police, the cause of the occurrence in Chaozhou city has yet to be determined, according to Chinese local media - Jimu News. The car was purportedly driven by a 55-year-old man who was going to pull up in front of his family store when he noticed a problem with the brake pedal.
According to a Weibo user who claims to be "a family member of the driver," the driver lost control over the last 2.6 kilometres (1.6 miles) and, despite his attempts to apply brakes.
Tesla has disputed that a defect was to cause for the fatal crash. The US carmaker stated on Sunday that it will assist Chinese police in their investigation of the disaster, but that it was not caused by a defect.
Based on a Bloomberg report, the company stated that data from the car showed no evidence of the brake pedal being pressed before to the incident. According to the video, the brake lights remained turned off.
