In view of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (PwD) tomorrow, Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB), is back offering FREE rides to any disabled passenger and a person accompanying them. This free rides promotion will run from 3rd December 12.01am up to 4th December 11.59pm.

The KTMB services eligible for this promotion are KTM Komuter in Klang Valley and Northern Sector. According to KTMB, this is the second time such promotion is done and the response last year was encouraging. According to KTMB press officers, based on statistics, a total of 37,363 PwDs used KTM Komuter service in 2021, however this number has risen substantially to 74,458 as of October this year.

This free ride campaign is a sign of KTMB’s appreciation for all PwD’s using the KTM Komuter service and a gesture that their welfare and comfort is always top in KTMB’s list of priorities.

To enjoy the free ride, the PwD will have to present their PwD (OKU) card at any customer service counters to get a token, QR ticket or using the KomLink OKU card. Remember your PwD/OKU card must be presented to enjoy the free ride.
