Just days after the blunder at several PLUS Highways, Touch ‘n Go RFID issues are back to plague Duta - Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE) and Setiawangsa–Pantai Expressway (SPE) this time around. As per DUKE Highways concessionaire tweet, both the Touch ‘n Go e-wallet and RFID method of payment is down, likely due to the paydirect system issues.

Hence users are advised to ensure their physical card is with them when using these highways and there is sufficient balance in it. The concessionaires have not provided any further details following the tweet, and even Touch ‘n Go has not issued any statement pertaining to this issue.

Replying to the tweet, road users are expressing their disappointment on constant issues the highway payment system is facing and many are tagging the newly appointed Minister Of Transport Anthony Loke so that he could look into the highway payment methods next once he is done with the public train system.

Of all the tweets, the below takes the cake for us.
