Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 Reopens To Public Both Ways - Contra Flow Activated

The concessionaire of Lebuhraya Pantai Timur 2 (LPT2) took to their social media to announce the reopening of the route between Dungun and Ajil making the KL/Kuantan to Kuala Terengganu route accessible for both way traffic.

This reopening was made possible due to the setting-up of a contra route at KM392.4 to KM394.6 towards Kuala Terengganu to facilitate the repair and monitoring works at KM394.6 following landslide flood damage.

Following the re-opening of the LPT2 highway, the highway concessionaire further updated that traffic seems to be starting to return to normal during its survey.

They had however requested the cooperation of drivers to be careful and obey the instructions of the officers and traffic signs when approaching the work zone and the contra Line at KM392.4 to KM394.6 towards Kuala Terengganu which was activated at 09.00am yesterday morning.
