Penang Bridge Closed For Penang Bridge International Marathon - 11 Dec 2022

PLUS has published that there would be a temporary closure of the Penang Bridge to make way for the annual Penang Bridge International Marathon on 11 Dec 2022 (Sunday) from 12am up to 10am.

The bridge would be open for operation thereafter from 10am upon completion of the marathon. Users are advised to abide and follow on-site instructions to ensure smooth travel.

Users who wish to travel across the island and mainland are advised to utilise the second bridge (Sultan Abdul Halim Muad’zam Shah Bridge) as an alternative as it will remain operational as usual.
