Road Bully At Kelana Jaya Over Honking, Aggressor Threatens With Baton!

Road bullying and hooliganism is something no one should tolerate and the aggressor needs to be dealt with with the strong arms of the law swiftly. As posted by a twitter user who goes by the handle @zabedabedoo, what seems to be an altercation between her e-hailing driver driving a Perodua Bezza  and another random driver.

According to her, the driver of the Nissan Sentra bearing the registration number PHF8871 had suddenly cut from the right lane which was intended for U-turn into the left lane which is meant for traffics heading straight or turning left/right at the Kelana Jaya underpass opposite Western Digital.

She further added it is unsure of the driver signalled but such suddenly turn in are dangerous nevertheless. Following which the Bezza driver honked to show his displeasure, however when the traffic light turned green, the Sentra in show of displeasure didn’t drive off but remained still resulting in a second honk from the Bezza driver which started this whole fiasco.

From the 2 minute 20 sec clip that was uploaded, we are able to see what happened following that where the driver of the Sentra forced the Bezza driver to stop even when the Bezze driver just asked to move on. Following which both drivers alighted from their vehicles and exchanged verbal arguments. The Sentra driver then took a rattan baton and acted as though he wanted to hit the Bezza driver.

Their altercation was broken up by a passing motorcyclist, and both went back to their respective vehicles. From the twitter post, we are able to catch a comment from the brother in blue (PDRM) who instructed the twitter poster to make a police report at any nearby police station for stern action to be taken.

Such aggression with a weapon would typically be investigated under Seksyen 148 or 506, aggression with a dangerous weapon which would land the offender in jail for five years or fine or both.

As the traffic nowadays is very unpredictable, it is best everyone maintains their composure when behind the wheels and whatever the situation it is always best just to remain calm and stay in the car instead of getting out which will fuel the other party's aggression.
