Toyota C-HR Prologue, Available Both Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Powertrains

Recently Toyota has unveiled a concept idea for the next generation C-HR, dubbed the C-HR prologue. The C-HR was initially introduced in 2016 with aggressive style that emphasised the brand's design language.

Outside, the "hammerhead" face is a component of a 3D structure made of interlocking shapes and a striking lighting design. To emphasise the high-tech identity, the grille apertures have been decreased in size, and the headlamps have been streamlined down. Notably, it gains larger wheels and reduced overhangs, giving the concept a more sporting, powerful appearance.

The Toyota C-HR prologue has a narrower grille opening at the front, which is capped by slimmer headlamps, emphasising the concept's high-tech identity. It also comes in a tri-colour version of sulphur over metallic silver and recycled carbon black for a unique look.

On the other hand, it will be offered globally with both hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains, demonstrating Toyota's multi-technology electrification approach.

According to Design Director Toyota European Design Development Lance Scott, their mission was to dig deep and to go further than they’d ever gone before.

‘’We’re really looking forward to delivering the new Toyota C-HR” she added.

To summarise, it is apparent that it maintains true to its core traits. The Toyota C-HR prologue is nonetheless daring, maybe polarising, provocative, and entertaining, displaying a range of attributes rarely found in a single vehicle. With surfaces that express both organic movement and extreme precision, the car is exceptionally modernistic, yet retains an approachable, human touch.
