All-New Range Rover L460 Set to Debut in Malaysia Next Month

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) Malaysia is poised to launch the all-new Range Rover L460 SUV into our local market space next month. The fifth-gen of the marque’s flagship luxury SUV will make its local debut some time in mid-Feb 2023.

The L460 model Range Rover initially made its global debut in Oct 2021, where it replaced the fourth-gen L405 model, after a decade-long service. Just like its predecessor, the L460 Range Rover is also manufactured in JLR’s Solihull plant in the UK.

Although the global model comes with several plug-in hybrid variants, the Malaysian-bound Range Rover L460 will stick to the pure-combustion setup, as for now. Hidden beneath its hood is a 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 built by BMW that delivers up to 530 HP and 750 NM to boot. Said powertrain is mated with a ZF 8-speed automatic gearbox.

For the L460 model, JLR has primed the new Range Rover with several luxury features, including the massive 22-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, an all-wheel steering system, as well as semi-aniline leather upholstery donning its cabin. Said luxury features are complemented by an array of tech amenities, such as a 3D surround camera, a brand-new 13.7-inch driver’s display, a 13.1-inch curved infotainment display, and a Meridian sound system rated at 400-to-1,600 watts.

Should customers think the standard High Specification Equipment is not posh enough for their liking, there’s also an abundance of bespoke customisation and personalised options for them to choose from.

Any further details of the all-new Range Rover L460 will be disclosed during the upcoming launch in Feb 2023. Interested parties can visit Land Rover Malaysia’s official website for further information.
