-full.jpg)
We’re sure many of you are familiar with the Xiaomi brand. Though best known for producing smartphones and numerous tech products ranging from vacuum cleaners to refrigerators, the Chinese tech giant had recently set its sights on entering the electric vehicles (EVs) market space having established a division to spearhead which back in 2021.
Said division was borne out of the tech conglomerate’s acquisition of autonomous driving tech development film Deepmotion Tech. The firm had also constructed an EV manufacturing plant after which. Furthermore, reports online further indicated Xiaomi’s initial intent to officially launch its first EV in 2024.

Well, based on this recent leak, it seems Xiaomi are indeed ahead of things. What you see pictured in these grainy images is what many are reporting to be the Xiaomi MS11 electric sedan. Apart from these images, some details about what’s underneath its rather sleek and aerodynamic exterior design, was also reported by multiple sources..
At a glance, it’s easy to see that the MS11’s design is both very sleek and aerodynamic. Vents present behind the front and rear fenders, as well as what appears to be a set of yellow-painted Brembo brakes, increase the car's overall sportiness too.

Other key design cues include a striking tiered rear end styling end and full-width taillight bar, flush door handles, not forgetting a rather snazzy-looking set of alloy wheels that look like it came straight off an Italian supercar.
Crucially, closer inspection beyond the pretty design reveals what looks like a roof-mounted Lidar sensor hints at this car’s tech-laden philosophy, which is expected to place a heavy focus on autonomous driving.
Though many details are still unknown, online sources further indicate that the MS11 will be offered with 400-volt and 800-volt architectures plus BYD’s Blade-style battery cells and CATL’s Kirin battery.
Once the MS11 is formally released, it will probably face competition from vehicles like the recent Sony-Honda jointly-developed Afeela sedan - another EV partly developed by a tech company.
