There is good news for those who have not yet obtained their B2 motorcycle, taxi, bus, and e-hailing public service vehicle (PSV) licences. This is because the government has agreed to bear the cost of the driving test for all the aforementioned vehicle licences. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, when presenting the Malaysia Madani Budget 2023 in the Dewan Rakyat earlier today.

For your information, the current fee for the driving test is RM17 for Part 1 and RM20 for Part 2 (including motorcycle rental and use of the testing track). As such, most driving schools charge between RM500 to RM800 to take the B2 motorcycle test. This rate includes the use of the testing track, training sessions, and motorcycle rental.
