Audi Q6 e-Tron Almost Production Ready - Both SUV & Sportback Variant Available

The small SUV market has been growing rapidly of late making it an absolute no brainer to push for more electrified models to populate this segment. Audi recently teased its almost production ready Audi Q6 e-tron.
The Audi Q6 e-tron which would basically share the underpinnings of the upcoming Porsche Macan EV is only the beginning of the brand's largest product offensive in its history. Audi will further launch more than 20 new cars by 2025, with more than ten of them being electric.

The upcoming Q6 e-tron model pushes forward the arrival of e-mobility at the headquarters in Ingolstadt where Audi's commitment to electric mobility is supported by an in-house battery assembly facility.
Audi is presently testing the production-ready Q6 e-tron prototype in the far north of Europe under tight safety rules. The new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) technological platform provides the foundation for the future model series. The production-oriented Q6 e-tron prototype would feature a 800-volt electrical system, powerful and efficient electric motors, an innovative battery and charging management system, and a newly developed electronics architecture which would represent the next major step in the electrification and digitalization of Audi's model range.

The new Q6 e-tron model series, which will be available in both SUV and Sportback configurations, reflects sustainable production alongside employee upskilling at the Ingolstadt factory.
Markus Duesmann, CEO of AUDI AG added, "Even in times of many crises, our Vorsprung 2030 strategy gives the proper answers where we are entirely focused on sustainability and are systematically expanding our goods' digitalization and electrification."
