OPS DIDIK To Be Enforced In Targeted Manner, Parents Must Ensure Childrens Safety
The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) via its Traffic Investigation And Enforcement Department (JSPT) is reaching out to all parents of kids returning back to school next week for the new year to ensure their childrens obey the rules when riding on the road as they commute to and from school.
The key of which is that the rider must have a valid driving licence and both rider and pillion must be wearing a helmet whenever they are on the road.
Although PDRM is sure most parents would not take their own children's safety for granted by allowing unlicensed kids to use the motorcycle as a mode of commuting to school, their JSPT department would still be on ground taking countermeasures.
The enforcement of OPs Didik would be done in a targeted and continuous manner through an advocacy approach to educate the students at schools because their lives are so precious as pillars of the country's future.
