The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) announced that today (March 31) will be the last day for users to enjoy the 60% discount reduction in compound and summons rates.

According to a Facebook post by the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) under PDRM, the authorities will ensure the 60% discount will be applicable to all drivers nationwide from 8am to 4.30pm daily, from 20 March until today (March 31).

To recap, this 60% discount is appropriate to all traffic fines except 10 types of summons. For instance, said discount cannot be used if it involves accidents, court proceedings, non-compoundable summons, cutting lanes dangerously, driving on the emergency lane, running a red light, and traffic mistakes including heavy vehicles (lorry).

Furthermore, cases like cutting over double lines, illegal exhaust modifications or even summons stated as 'Op Selamat' also will not be applicable under the 60% discount.

Take note that users may pay through MyBayar Saman apps or over the counter at the nearest police headquarters in their district including Maybank ATM machines nationwide.

This app can also be downloaded via Google PlayStore, Apple App Store, and the HUAWEI AppGallery.
