PLUS Highway: Meru Tunnel Left Lane Closed In Stages - 20 Mar To 14 Apr

Highway users on the North-South Expressway (NSE) who go through the Meru Tunnel (Kuala Kangsar-Ipoh segment) are advised to plan their journey due to the temporary closure of the left lane between KM260.30 and KM262.05 (Southbound) for Phase Two Pavement Repair Work.

The temporary shutdown will be implemented in stages between 9:00 p.m. and 12:00 p.m. daily from March 20 (Monday) through April 14 (Friday), 2023. To assist smoother traffic flow, a contra flow will be gradually activated at the affected stretch during the duration, depending on traffic situation.

As a result, all highway users travelling south/Ipoh/Kuala Lumpur are strongly recommended to plan their journey using the PLUS App to check traffic conditions, while complying to traffic signages and PLUS directions when passing through the impacted stretch.
