Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) said in a statement that cases like road accident deaths have been increasing every year especially during festive season, according to road accident statistics released by Traffic Investigation and Enforcement.

Following this matter, Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ) is always concerned and takes such issues seriously especially when death cases are involved.

Through this campaign, it is seen as one of the initiatives offered in collaboration with Social Security Organization (PERKESO) at Sony EMCS Sdn Bhd, Bandar Baru Bangi recently.

According to its official Facebook page, through this campaign, it is seen as one of the initiatives offered in collaboration with Social Security Organization (PERKESO) at Sony EMCS Sdn Bhd, Bandar Baru Bangi recently.

Aside from that, the campaign is said to be carried out in several phases which focuses on locations where accidents often occur (blackspot) and workplaces that’s reported to have the highest commuting accident rate in Selangor.

During the pocket talk session by JPJ and SOCSO officials, the speech involves topics such as driving safety, visibility when driving, and obeying traffic rules and regulations.

Attended by almost 50 employees, the session also advised people to wear helmets with approval from the Industrial Research Institute of Malaysia (SIRIM).

Thus, JPJ will implement more campaigns to ensure that every driver returns home safely, especially during this Raya season. PDRM then ended its statement with ‘’Don't spoil Lebaran with tragedies on the road’’
