- SUKE Expressway Phase 2 Toll Collection Starts Today - RM2.30 For Cars
Toll collection at the Phase 2 Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Elevated Motorway (SUKE), Alam Damai toll plaza will begin today, June 30. The motorway, which opened to users on June 16, granted a two-week toll-free period to all motorists, which ended yesterday, June 29.
The Alam Damai toll plaza would have the same toll rates as the Bukit Teratai and Ampang toll plazas along the SUKE Expressway, which are set at RM2.30 for Class 1 vehicles. PROLINTAS, the motorway concessionaire, stated that all toll collection would be done electronically via Touch n' Go cards, SmartTAG, and RFID.
The SUKE Expressway Phase 2 connects Sri Petaling to Cheras-Kajang, whereas the older Phase 1 connects Cheras-Kajang to Ulu Kelang. Both segments would cover a distance of 24.4 km. This year will see the start of Phase 3 of this motorway, which will include the Alam Damai interchange.
