Launched: 2023 Nissan Navara Black Edition – Stylish Exterior Accessories That's FREE This Month
The face-lifted third-gen (D23) Nissan Navara has been spruced up featuring a new Black Edition
accessories package.
Nissan assemblers and distributors Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has spruced up its evergreen Navara pick-up truck range this week. The firm has introduced the 2023 Nissan Navara Black Edition which sees the face-lifted third-generation (D23) model now offered with a new optional accessories package.
Pictured is the Navara V variant featuring the Black Edition package. Note the new gloss black-treated grille surround and side mirror caps.
Besides the grille, the Navara V's Black Edition package also adds gloss black 17-inch wheels and side mirror caps, as well as two-tone wheel arch over fenders.
Specific to the Navara V variant's Black Edition package too is the new black combination leather seats.
Available for the V and VL variants specifically, the Black Edition styling package brims these variants of the Navara with a number of additional goodies including exterior styling bits that, according to ETCM, were inspired by the model’s PRO-4X flagship variant.
These exterior additions comprise of a new gloss black-treated front grille surround, side mirror caps, and 17-inch wheels (V) plus two-tone wheel arch over fenders. For the VL variant, the exterior additions get boosted with added kick-plate, fuel tank guard, oil sump guard, and door visors too.
For theVL variant's Black Edition package, it gets other additions such as door visors, kick plates, fuel tank guard, and an oil sump guard. On board, it also gains a dashcam through this package.
On board, the Black Edition treatment aptly sees the V variant Navara gaining black combination leather seat upholstery, as well as V-Kool security window tints added. It’s the same treatment in the VL variant, which also gets a newly added Digital Video Recorder (DVR – ‘dashcam) feature.
Apart from these aesthetic additions, there are no mechanical changes to report. Both variants harnesses the familiar 2.5-litre 4-cyl turbo-diesel rated at 190 PS and 450 NM. It’s paired with a 7-speed automatic box plus a full-blown 4x4 driveline that boasts an Active Brake Limited Slip Differential feature.
Worth RM13,500 in the Navara V variant, the Black Edition package is currently being offered for free for bookings placed throughout this month (Sept).
Keen on the Black Edition treatment? ETCM is offering this optional accessories package for FREE to customers booking the V or VL guises of the Navara throughout this month (Sept). Customers who do so will also be rewarded with an RM800 fuel card too, and special high trade-in offers.
After which, the Black Edition accessories package will cost an additional RM13,500 (V) and RM14,700 (VL) on top of the respective model base prices of RM134,800 (V) and RM146,900 (VL).
