View Supercars With A Spooky Twist This Month At The JPM Museo!
An original 930-gen Porsche 911 Turbo being displayed as what many refer to it as - 'Widowmaker'.
Classic icons, modern retros, 1-of-1 race cars, even early hypercars, are just some of the vehicle types present in the vast JPM Museo collection.
CariCarz.com was privileged to have gotten an early preview of a special Halloween-themed tour organised by the folks over at the JPM Museo in Petaling Jaya, also known as the JPM Collection, earlier this month. Called the ‘Night Tour At The Museo’, this marks the private supercars and classic cars collection’s first themed tour offered to the public.
This series of themed tours will run across six nights this month starting with the first two nights on 6 and 7 Oct, followed by another two-night run on 13 and 14 Oct, and a final two-night run on 20 and 21 Oct. The latter two tour are limited to just 25 pax for each night, and will run from 8:30PM to 10:30PM.
Welcome to what JPM Museo calls the 'Car Graveyard' - a specially curated section made for this month's 'Night At The JPM Museo' Halloween-themed tours.
For their first themed tours, JPM Museo have specially curated a display of over 100 vehicles for participants to view and experience. Besides sections themed by vehicle types and eras, there’s even a ‘Car Graveyard’ specially arranged with beaters and bangers in a spooky manner.
The bulk of these beaters and bangers in the ‘Car Graveyard’ are actual project cars from the collection that have yet to be restored, or are in various stages of which. What’s interesting here too is the variation of car types here as it includes notable classics and icons from a not so distant past.
Some of the spooky Halloween-themed décor present at the JPM Museo during our tour. Trust us on this - it's isn't as cheesy as it sounds.
What you’ll notice here too are the spooky Halloween-themed décor present in each of these section. Out of which, special mini-games will be held by tour guides for participants in each get to score exclusive merchandise from JPM Museo.
Apart from the Halloween-themed outlooks, the tour is made less static thanks to special vehicle start-ups organised in selected sections. This, in turn, allow visitors to bask in some of the collection’s high-horsepowered and high-speed machines not just in their stylish looks, but their visceral sounds too.
Keeping the tour less 'static', tour guides will even 'start-up selected vehicles at selected sections. Even this working replica of the world's first automobile created by Karl Benz gets the start-up treatment!
Some of the cars that also get the 'start-up' treatment include a Jaguar F-Type Project 7, an Enzo-engined Ferrari 599 GTO, and an 'Eleanor' Shelby Ford Mustang GT500 movie car replica.
We won’t give away too much here other than how surprisingly fun these special start-ups will be for avid car enthusiasts visiting JPM Musueo during these special dates. And whilst it may sound cheesy, the Halloween-themed display, décor, and mini-games promise to be a fun addition for participants too.

Lead 'curator' JM Chin talking through the 1-of-1 Nissan Falken GT-R R34 endurance racer, as well as the story behind the classic FJ-gen Toyota Land Cruiser his father once used whilst working on Christmas Island.
